AGO OLYMPIC PENINSULA CHAPTER PROGRAMS
2020-2021

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, all chapter programs are cancelled until further notice.

From the Program Chair

Sept. 16, 8AM-10AM Board meeting with breakfast in the home of Cindy Holland. If you have concerns and suggestions, please contact a board member prior to themeeting.

OCTOBER – A VIRTUAL STROLL DOWN MEMORY LANE WITH ZOOM MEETING FOR SHARING. DATE TO BE DETERMINED. Please write or email your early organ and/or keyboard lessons that were memorable experiences. Shared histories will help keep us close and hopefully, chuckling! Since our public concert participation is limited, let us start planning for next year. Pull out that challenging piece and start getting it ready for performance. Perhaps that Vierne, Bach or Franck that escaped without ever being performed. Please send me your list for the next newsletter and we will check in with you often to hear how you are progressing and to cheer you on. We can share hints, videos and loud applause for our progress.

NOVEMBER – Pull out your favorite Christmas carols and/or arrangements, send the title in to put in our newsletter. We will put together the ones we are allowed to publish and share the titles of the other. We can share the joys and a few of the frustrations of holiday preparations even if we are apart.

November 18, 8AM-10AM Board meeting with breakfast in the home of Cindy Holland. If you have concerns and suggestions, please contact a board member prior to the meeting.

DECEMBER 31, NEW YEAR’S EVE -We are hoping for a return to the St. James Concert, and will keep you posted.

February 10, 8AM-10AM Board meeting with breakfast in the home of Cindy Holland. If you have concerns and suggestions, please contact a board member prior to the meeting.

May 5, 8AM-10AM Board meeting with breakfast in the home of Cindy Holland. If you have concerns and suggestions, please contact a board member prior to the meeting.

We will hold further plans in abeyance until we have more information regarding public gatherings in light of the current health crisis. Please send your early keyboard memories and Christmas carols to me at colorwaves@embarqmail.com . Like you all I find that the longer we are apart the more I value this organization and the dear comrades with the same passions. If you have any suggestions, corrections, or just want to talk AGO please feel free to call me. (360 765 0705). Know that you are all valued and important to our Chapter.

Keep playing, keep praying and know that your fellow AGO members are with you!

Warm regards,
